I don't have time.

How often we all feel that way. Only we're feeling that way because we've bound ourselves to a never-ending to do list. We feel that way because we're stressed and overwhelmed. What a beautiful switch. Instead of "I don't have time. I'm busy, busy" let me always say, "I don't have time. Time to worry. Time to cry. I'm too busy dancing. And laughing. And singing."

These are words of wisdom, yours and from that dear elderly woman. And I might add that it is okay to feel the sadness, hurt, anger and fear of our humanness and know that there is also the part of us that transcends all time, duality and suffering. What is time but a human construct? There is only the now. We acknowledge the parts that are mortal and imperfect and choose to identify with the greater aspect of our divine existence that is eternal. All is welcome here. :D

My deepest wishes that you and yours are surrounded by love and that you be the bright light that brings love and hope to all of us.

I find that grieving and living in fear is actually a conditioned response. Therefore, one has to become conscious to not believe in such lower vibrations. The lady appeared to only have time for what she considered worth celebrating in life. Perhaps to her, there is no such thing as death, and therefore there is no fear or greaving of that which one thinks is gone from our lives. We can choose to feel seperated and grieve at our perceived losses, or we can choose to believe that we are always connected, and everything we will ever need is Here right now.
