Make Compassion your religion

I love this video, so I'm devoting an entire post to it... Compassion can be learned... And we can all learn something from the example of people like Linda Hamilton.

Love the world into change,

Maithri

Cynthia sent me here and said I'd be very interested in the post today, as I'd done something on my blog that is the same subject...and she's right. It's good to meet you Maithri...

Maithri, isnt it funny how the lack of material goods seems to allow compassion to thrive and grow. i need to remember to put less value on WHAT I HAVE and concentrate on WHO I AM! Thank you my friend!

Compassion is the only religion that makes any sense to me, my friend. And, compassion in action? It moves mountains. But you know this because you practice it. It's why we love you without having ever met you.

You always leaving me crying. Happy tears or convicting tears, I always cry. Thank you for that. Thank you for keeping my heart open. I love you, my friend. I'm thinking of you.

Dear Maithri, I tried to capture two of your poems in my blog page because coincidentally I ran into it from Inspiration Peak at this time when I needed some beautiful thoughts to help me feel alright.

This latest post of you with this video made me think deeply how stolid many have become. The innate kindness of man perhaps marred by suspicion and skepticism. I am simply touched by Linda Hamilton's reaction. She conveyed a poignant message to us about genuine compassion. The fellow helpless showing genuine concern and sympathy. Genuine compassion can only come from those who can truly empathize. And this can come even from the very least of us. Thank you for being here to remind us how great compassion is.

Sad, isn't it...man's inhumanity to man? But it needn't be so because, after all is said and done, WE CAN. It really is as simple as that.

Wow, touched by this video. Thank you for sharing. Makes me think of the saying for the Grace of God goes I. We have to remember if it was us, wouldn't would we want help too. As always, Maithri you make me think deeply.
