OMG!!! That is the cutest Bum! I mean the top one.
You gotta love baby butts ;)
Cute ;D Thanks for the heads up on the blog change.
Nice one :)
Dear Maihtri I watched that video with you talking about the face of poverty... I think you should get tv and radio time, your words really capture us. Unfortunately you're right... as if they don't exist. How can we fight that?
My dearest Maithri, you have made my day! What a sweet bum that is indeed! And I love it that you don't hide the child in you! We all have one, they just get ignored a lot of the time. Wasn't able to watch the video, will change sites and see if that helps.
And thank you for you sweet, lovely comments, they're always appreciated and it was fun to find you'd dropped by to visit.
Much love to you, my dear friend!
Sylvia
It's a sideways smile- just like this ;)
The video is priceless! Best laugh today and, oh! such gratitude that he is out of office!!! Thanks for sharing the other "bum"!
Ah thanks for the laugh! The video is just so funny! And yes, that, led a country for 8 years!:D
The baby bum was the cutest... and I almost laughed my own bum off watching the video... thanks for remembering to laugh!
haha! My son, who was trying not to listen to the George W clip, was smirking noisily in the background. Then he came over and saw the crack... and pointed out that you can see the young boy's smiling face...even from behind, so to speak.
Perfect. Lovely. Beautiful.

You have a wonderful gift too Maithri!!
Blessings, M ;-O
Oh Maithri, you make the world a better place in more ways than I can say.
Love the bum on the top. On the bottom, not so much!
And for you? Love!
I believe that 12 is a wonderful age to remain at forever.
I've changed you blog address on my sidebar.
Hi Maithri! That quite a cute pic, we all have a child within us, but whats imp is to cherish the inner innocence, joy and happiness forever.I am happy you're holing on to it. It has also got something to do with kids, whenever we meet a kid, the little angel does lighten up the purest inner spirit within us, making us feel light and happy:)and yes with old people as well, since I firmly believe that old age is definately the second phase of childhood, its a blessing to see old people laugh and spread joy!
Thanks for the cute pic:)
Ah that boy's bum looks carefree, untroubled on those shoulders, despite the hardships we have read about here at your place dear friend.
When compared to the hilarity of the unmatched "mining of a dense vein of coal" it just makes you wonder about the civilized vs. ignorant worlds we live in.
I think this is a great juxtaposition here!
At least someone (you?)is lifting that boy head and shoulders above...! I can just picture the smiles on his face.
I was crying with laughter by the end of that video!!!
Asante sana Maithri,
Mama Shujaa.
I loved the cute bum picture. The video of Bush is hillarious. I needed that pick me up.
Dear Maithri,
I love children! the boy of 12 and the baby (and bum!) thanks for the smile, the video was priceless.

lori

also, I thought you might like to know I had a few problems getting to leave a comment....but eventually so hopefully it was just a glitch!
blessings to you...
dear friend, there is an award waiting for you at my blog. please come
who on here knows that former Pres Bush TRIPLED financial aid to Africa during his presidency.
Thank you Pres. Bush, God bless you.
Thanks to each and all for your great comments! ;)
Dear Maximus,
In regards to your question my friend... A friend of mine recently said 'our concerns are only as broad as our horizons'. I think we need to keep presenting the humanity of people who live in so called 'developing' parts of the world to those who are more fortunate. It is the recognition of our common humanity which is the beginning of change.
Dear Eilandkind,
The post was meant in the spirit of fun and I apologise if it offended.
I recognise that the Bush administration did increase funding to HIV projects in africa which is most certainly a blessing.
I have nothing personally against George bush, however I do feel that as global citizens we have a responsibility to question and creatively criticise the leaders and administrations of powerful countries such as the United states.
PEPFAR for instance had many shortcomings, not least the fact that clinics or programs which did not promote 'abstinence FIRST' were cut from funding. Which to a physician, feels tantamount to murder.
The bush administration also were lax on manifold issues in Africa, from the initial congratulation and recognition of Kibaki's fraudulent election to President in Kenya, to the lack of courage and resolve in the Sudanese crisis. I wish just a modicum of the determination he had in his 'mission in Iraq' could have been used to end the atrocities committed against the citizens of Sudan.
Away from Africa I feel his administration was divisive and caused huge amounts of pain the world over.
I wish him well but I feel that he
should never have been elected to such a position of power.
Blessings to you friend,
M
I do not like Bush so I will not be watching the YouTube on him but I love those sweet buns! So cute!!!
Kia ora Maithri,
I'm surprised no one has written this yet so I will. This post really CRACKS me up. Kia kaha brother. Rave on.

Robb
